i just tested the subscriptions option and i found out that two(exact) emails are being send instead of one .. when a new post is being posted ..

This was happening before when someone changed the title of a reply on a thread you we're suscribed.

Can it be the case?

no .. it happened once .. so i wanted to make sure ..
so i created a new topic by user (A) for example ..
logged in with another account (B )..then subscribed ..
posted a new reply by a user ..
(B ) gets two emails ..

joomla version 1.0.15


checked moderators email notification .. its working like a charm .. one email is being sent ..

after more testing on this issue .. i found out the following

when(B )subscribed..i went to backend and i confirmed that he has a subscription and i can see
Subscriptions for (B )
1: email notification problem by (A )
now when some1 posts a reply
(B ) gets two emails and i can see in backend that

Subscriptions for (B )
1: email notification problem by (A )
2: email notification problem by (A )

so now he has two subscriptions in backend for the same topic ..

edit..
tried switching template .. its not a template issue ..

updated to latest rc and still have the bug where pagination doesnt work. i klick on different sitenumbers but doesnt matter what i do fireboard opens only last site!

i thought this hs been patched in this release? anyone can confirm?

As I mentioned the photo border will come our shortely.

What did you set "Text Area Width" in the FireBoard configuration? It limits images, videos and code to a maximum width so it does not run over your template.

Another somewhat flawless upgrade!!! Very nice work FB team! However I have posted elsewhere on this matter. I lost the ability to make certain boards private. Was using a hack for v1.0.4? Anything work for 1.0.5 till v2 comes out?

Other than the private forum this was a very seamless upgrade! Better than any board I have ever upgraded in the past! Job well done and can't wait for v2!!!

I just loaded RC1 and I am not seeing two images. These are the profile image and go to last comment image. Everything else works perfectly fine. See images below. Any ideas on what I need to do to get these two images up?

By the way, thanks for all of your hard work. Fireboard is the best joomla component out there because of your efforts.

The 'missing' images are a known issue on certain Joomla installs. It is believed to be a Joomla issue. The package you have downloaded contains the correct and valid images profile.gif and tlatest.gif but they get 'destroyed' by the Joomla installer or the underlying libraries during the uncompress and copy install process.
Please unzip the install package locally and upload those files manually. You can find the exact path by right licking on the missing image and selecting to open the image in a separate window. It will still not load but will show you the exact directory in which to find the corrupt gif icon.

I have something weird with the Recent Posts list going on. When literally anyone posts a reply or a new thread, and I reply to it, their title in the Recent Post list disappears completely. This is reversible however, if I delete my reply to their post, then theirs magically reappears in the Recent Post list.

My settings for the Recent Post list is:

Number of Recent Posts: 15
Count Per Tab: 15
Show Category: 0
Show Single Subject: Yes
Show Reply Subject: Yes
Subject Length: 100
Show Date: Yes
Show Hits: Yes
Show Author: 1
