That is what I use it for, for my forum staff, the moderators, a shame I can't see a way of doing this, I have been looking at some of the plugins for Joomla (currently 1.0.15) but noting that fits the bill yet. Looks like a lengthy wait.
If I didn't have the Moderators private forum, then I'll upgrade right now, as it looks good.

Here is a little HOW-TO that should help you with the setup of private Moderator forums with FB 1.0.5:

I have followed this to the letter, don't work on my test site, I'll do a complete uninstall-reinstall, incase there is anything there that shouldn't be there.
I'll report back.
Thanks for the help so far.

After deleting the tables, & doing a fresh install, made a Private Forum, assigned a moderator, in the way described in the how to. But the forum is hidden from all users tested. Well at least it is Private

Great Job with RC2!!!
I've got a problem though with announcements. They are without "time offset".
Thanks and keep up the good work!!

I didn't quite understand what you just said but I do have 1.5RC2 installed and I do have published an announcement to my forum but the time refers to 10 hours back which is exactly the value of the "Board Time Offset" I put in my configuration.

Sorry - I have no access to this part of the homepage & the core BOJ team seems out of office.

Hello fxstein,

thanks for the new release!!

But I found one new bug...

The threaded view with sh404SEF don't work any more. If you show a message in threaded view and click on a other message on the tree, it always show the first message.

This also happend on your site (starvmax).

Best wishes, Roland

Same here. That from the 'fix' for UNICODE we incorporated. Need to go back to the drawing board with this one.
