My last post was in the 1.0.2 forum, so I need to post here.

Basically, under categories in my forum, there are no forumS being displayed in the front end - however in the backend they are listed... any ideas?

I am having the same issue. The sql file didn't take correctly so I did it piece by piece like the directions said.. Most of it did not take.
I did back everything up. Is there a way I can just uninstall everything and only install all the old categories/forums/posts/users/pictures? All I really care about is the categories/forums/posts. I am using community builder so I can just resend the users from cb to fb I believe.

Another possiable cause? I had installed 1.0.0beta a while ago and I thought I upgraded it to 1.0.1 or 1.0.2 but im not sure. The version still said 1.0.0 so I just followed the directions for 1.0.0 to 1.0.3.

Edit:

The categories and the forums show up in forum administration. They also do show as published. Un-publishing and re-publishing does nothing. Just not showing up on the user side.

Ok after reading this:
www.bestofjoomla.com/component/option,co...w/id,20600/catid,79/

I tried just doing it with the 1.0.1 to 1.0.3 file... I did it piece by piece... only had 2 errors because the table was already there for two of them. (sorry im a sql noob and dont know what to call anything). Anyway after I did that and Recount Categories Stats its showing the forums and posts again.
Hope this helps anybody who comes across this issue.
