Hi,

i tried to follow the upgrade manual.

But it didnt work out, i get several errors.

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /ROOT/html/components/com_fireboard/template/default/plugin/who/whoisonline.php on line 75

And no template is shown on forum main page.
all forums are gone, backend shows them, they are somewhere but where?
when i run easysql table status, i get this:

1. [ SHOW TABLE STATUS jos_TFS_bots ], rows: -1
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'jos_TFS_bots' at line 1 SQL=SHOW TABLE STATUS jos_TFS_bots

I thought i could do the upgrade - but obviously i was wrong. So, if anyone can help me that would be highly apreciated!

I'm sorry what script are you running? There's no reference to "jos_TFS_bots" in any of them. I suggest you run ALL of the scripts.

Hopefully someone will see this as this thread is 3mo old.

i also have the problem with the

i've searched and found a few posts about updating the sql but

according to the wiki:

"So, if you are upgrading from Release 1.0.3 there is no need for a manual database upgrade script to be executed."

i upgraded from 1.0.3 (totally fresh install) to 1.0.4 everything works great except for the whoisonline.php issue. I have searched the forums and searched google which pointed to tons of sites with same error msg but cannot find the solution. If someone could point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. (using joomla 1.0.13 and fireboard 1.0.4 / php5)

for now i have disabled but would like to get it fully functional.

foreach() errors are ONLY databasse OR language file related.

grumblemarc, at first i read your reply and said "ummm, ok, that doesn't help me one bit." but at least it made me look at a couple of things i didn't even consider

i think i found my particular problem. I just changed my template and all works as it should. So bottom line, it had something to do with the (joomla template and) fireboard template i was using. In my case, i am using a rockettheme template which comes with a fireboard template. I wasn't using the rockettheme's fireboard template. once i enabled that template, all worked great.

That would be pretty helpful if you had said you were using a RocketTheme FireBoard template in the first place . I don't know how you expected proper assistance when you leave out important details like that.

In the future I think anyone with one of these needs to seek out support from RocketTheme FIRST prior to coming here since no one really knows how their FB templates are modified.

I'm sure it would have helped if I knew it would have helped. But don't you see... You helped me without even knowing it! Although many times I want a direct answer, I seem to always get something that leads to a solution as I don't usually post - because the answers are usually found just by browsing.

So Mr. Grumblemarc....don't be so Be as your response led to me finding my solution. And from now on I will have a sig showing such info.
