I had my Joomla site upgraded recently to 1.5, and now the fireboard
forum is not working at all. The installer cannot find a fix.

When clicking on any post in the forum, the template breaks down, there
is a white screen, with links that go back to the forum. I had this
problem previously with the avatar uploading only, now it's with the
whole forum.

I have checked the requirements, and suppossedly they check out with my
hosting which is Host4Profit.

So, I have the latest versions of Joomla, and fireboard.

Is there a fix for this issue?

Do I need to wait until the fireboard update?

How did you upgrade? Did you do the upgrade? I ask because you said you had it upgraded. Possibly they did not do a successful migration. As far as I know there was no sucessful migration tool from Joomla 1.0.xx to the new "release candidates" available.

Joomla 1.5 is not the latest STABLE release. It's just a beta. It SOUNDS good when you call it a release candidate but it is the same thing as a beta. Notice how Joomla.org doesn't even use it? There's a reason.

And that comment means that it's broken NOW (in the downloadable version) but has been fixed in their SVN.

I was the one who closed the bug as the Joomla 1.5 support has been implemented on SVN in revision 480 and above. That is our main line of code. That means the next release of FireBoard will support Joomla 1.5 - whereas 1.0.3 does not
