Got it. I created two more installs.

1.) a clean Joomla 1.0.13 with FB 1.0.3 combo

2.) a clean Joomla 1.0.13 with FB 1.0.3 combo - then patched to FB 1.0.4

#2 shows the same symptons you have described.

I also have a clean Joomla 1.0.13 install with FB 1.0.4 as the full install that does not have those problem. The issue must lie in either the patch process we use or the package has a different issue.

I downloaded the 1.0.4 stable version from here: www.bestofjoomla.com/component/option,co...1/catid,3/Itemid,67/

I have tried uninstall & re-install fb1.0.4 several times now, but the problem persists. don't know what the hell is going on there

Are you doing a CLEAN install? Uninstalling, wiping the database and deleting directories?

yes, I did fresh installation after uninstall and remove database & directories concerned.

I don't know what to tell you. To try this out I downloaded from the link you provided and installed Fireboard on a brand new Joomla installation locally. I did not get the issues you are showing so I can verify it is NOT the install package causing your issues.

I've got the same issue upgrading from 1.0.3 to 1.0.4

Seems that in this case fireboard write this code:

edit: with fireboard it's impossible to post html code, also using the CODE tag, the text is removed

I was not able to find the code that dysplay posts and write blockquote instead of fb_quote span, anyone can see ow to fix this problem?? Thanks!

I havn't posted the code fix for the quote bug, I've posted the output code that display the bug, because I'm not able to fix it
