Will we get a 1.0.4 bug fixed version to upgrade production sites once all bugs will be reported and solved (for those who can be solved) or will we have to go through the painful process of losing our fireboard setting and fixing by hand one by one all the 1.0.4 bugs ?

Yes and No

I'm asking this because to test on local it is not a problem but it becomes more problematic and time consuming on production sites.
Things like the quote bug, "size" option of the tag IMG, quoted images bug and tag CODE bug which can be fixed editing a single file could be the subject of a 1.0.4 patch which would incredibly help production site owners especially those who have several fireboard forums to upgrade.

Other more advanced manipulations like restoring the config file or fixing legacy html tags will have to be done each time and that's not a problem. Compared to previous fireboard updates this one is far easier to perform.
