In order to be able to test some of the latest fixes with a broader audience I have put together a nightly build for a patch to 1.0.4

This is an unsupported patch to allow you to test the latest collection of fixes from the SVN #551.

The patch file is a zip archive that needs to be unzipped locally. It only contains those files that changed since 1.0.4. In order to patch a server, these files need to be ftp-ed/copied over the existing files. Needless to say you should backup first. This is for testing purposes only and not intended as an official patch or version.

This should fix all those bugs that got closed on the SVN over the past couple of days. As this is just a nightly build, no documentation is provided outside of this message. If you want to know what bugs should be fixed in here please check Tracker on the SVN and look for bugs closed between 12-24-2007 and 1-10-2008.

Great - many thanks! This is great to see...Fireboard has made some great progress in the last month or so. I really like the new Preview feature - *much* better than before.

Is this going to be added to a 1.0.5 release? To be honest, it's probably not a bad idea to make a 1.0.5 - people can use this patch that have already updated with 1.0.4 and new folks will be spared the pain down the road.

They kind of did that with 1.0.2. There never was an official release of it. That's why it jumps from .1 to .3. You probably already knew that.

Since this IS the latest SVN this will be in any future release we come out with.

We would like to get all the bugs out and have as many as possible test before we package a 1.0.5. I could see another Nightly SVN version to make sure any further/outstanding fixes don't break anything else.

Will test tomorrow.

Filter on closed bugs and sort by close date decending. All between 12-24-07 and 01-10-08 are in this test patch.

Your two are in that list - I believe. Pls doublecheck.

• Images size does not obey BBCode [ IMG Size=xxx ]


• error: Class 'BBCodeInterpreter


• Avatar galleries broken


• font-size BBcode does not work


• Cannot change font size


• Posting field and emoticon area layout broken on post reply and showing random code.


• No line breaks in post.


• Scroll Bars appear on posts.


• Problem with CODE tag.


• Image codes in quote box.


• The "size" option of the tag IMG not work.


• Quick Reply box always open.


• Quoted text is no longer highlighted.


• Parser Bug in autolinking


• img size tag ignored by parser


• Parser does not convert smiles inside a quote


• Quick reply open on every post. FB 1.0.4
