Sorry I replied to an earlier part of the thread. updating components/com_fireboard/template/default/message.php worked for me too.

I have used the updated file and it seems to have worked well for removing the Quick Reply box, however now the Quick Reply button does not function any longer.

I read Grumbelmarks post about removing all the Quick Reply button code from the message.php is this the only answer for this problem?

I also looked in the Wiki and it mentions something about fixing this but I did not understand what it was telling me to do.

Can someone point me in the right direction for fixing this broken Quick Reply button?

Same problem as imaaxx.. Inserted the new 535 message.php file and it removed the automatically opening quick reply, but just as him the button doesn't open it up Help?

I manually edited messge.php and it worked. QuickReply also still works.

What did you edit in the message.php ?
