I thought I was getting somewhere. I still can't find any clear instructions, I've looked on the forum and they don't give you any instructions. Someone talked about having an upgrade PDF but I can't find anywhere

I have not done this in a while but I think you are able to drop the full version files RIGHT ON TOP of the existing install as there is no change made to the database. *Edit* This is from an upgrade to 1.0.3.
Please quote the whole line.
I also said that I have not done this in a while and have URGED you to read the info in the stickies.

I am literally going round in circles here. I have looked at the stickies, your post is the first one, the rest of them are no help whatsoever. The link you provide takes me to the upgrade page. My version is 1.0.0. I can follow all of the instructions apart from the bit that tells you to copy components/com_fireboard/fbfiles.. This is where it doesn't make sense because when you open up components/com_fireboard, there is no fbfiles to be seen. So since you added the link to your post, can you not tell me where I'm going wrong?. Please don't tell me to go and look at stickies because I've done that a million times and they don't help.
I would like to get hold of this fireboard upgrading PDF but I can't find anywhere, maybe that would help?

Probably in the 1.0.3 download. I think it's the same as the WIKI.
The manual is in the 1.0.3 download.
If you're stuck on this then the SQL upgrades will REALLY mess you up. I'm done here.

I just can't understand why you can't do a simple one to 10 on how to upgrade simply. It wouldn't take you more than a few minutes. I run tetraplegicliving.com and I go out of my way to help my members if they have questions that are troubling them, to turn around and say "I'm done here" is not the sort of response you expect on a "support forum" you haven't answered my questions and quite frankly, you have been no help whatsoever. you posted a sticky about grading which led me to believe you actually knew what you were talking about, if it so easy for you, it should be easy for you to write down some simple instructions. Anyway, I respect the fact that you no longer want to help me and I shall just have to do try and do it on my own.
I really love fireboard, it's a great forum, unfortunately the support absolutely sucks

I'm sure somebody will be able to answer this question.
Finally getting somewhere. It doesn't help when the instructions for upgrading are wrong. So I've got 1.0.0 installed. After reading the PDF, I'm going to upgrade to 1.0.3 first. It does say copy components/com_fireboard/fbfiles. Because the instructions are wrong, I was actually downloading the wrong patch which didn't contain fpfiles. Am I right in saying that I can just ignore the rest of the files that are in the com_fireboard folder ?
The reason I say this is because the path is components/com_fireboard/FBfiles. However, inside the com_fireboard folder there are various other folders and files such as template, etc.finally, I am right in saying that fbfiles_dst is the same as FBfiles?
