This is not an upgrading quetion but a migration one. I hope its ok to put it here.

I have searched for and read a lot of post about migratiing fireboard but none seem to have answered my two questions.

1- will fireboard 1.0.4 work okay on j!1.5 ? Or should I go to fireboard 1.0.5 ?
2- I used joomlapack to backup my site and then converted it to Joomla1.5 using the migrator component. So, if I just install fireboard 1.0.4 again will it pick up existing posts and users?

I have been thinking that to go from fireboard 1.0.4 on J!1.0.15 I should follow the steps like this:

1- upgrade to fireboard 1.0.5
2- usign migrator component to create joomla 1.0.15 to joomla 1.5 upgrade script
3- install joomla 1.5 using the migrator sql script
4- install fireboard 1.0.5 on the Joomla 1.5 installation (and that will preserve existing posts and users)

But I'm wondering if the upgrade to fireboard 1.0.5 is actually necessary?

Also wondering if the latest FB runs in legacy mode on Joomla 1.5 ?

No problem will be given, if you come from a previous j1.04 database and you want to keep what you have on it, you must run the FB_converter

Necessary? not, but advised, j1.0.5 is far more stable, fast and featured
