I like this template I have two questions. I set this up on a test server and I set it not to use Joomla style. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or missing something but how do I resolve these two issues:
1) I'm getting a double scroll (i.e. scrollbar on the bottom) even though none of the formatting appears broken i.e. the forum fits within the defined module positions and aside from the double scroll nothing appears wrong.
2) even though I'm set with Dorona_Brown and NOT using Joomla style the links in the forum are displaying a very light green color which is from the Joomla template I'm using. On mousover it turns white so using Dorona brown you can barely see the green and not see the white at all. The Joomla template has a dark background but I don't want a dark background on the forum. I like it exactly as it appears here on bestofjoomla.com

Any help?

This is your joomla template default link color. You can add this class on your forum.css
For Black:
