User Registration - 403 Error 10 Months, 4 Weeks ago

Greetings,
I just installed the forum and love the options and features! However, when you click on "Register" for a new registration a 403 - Access Forbidden page comes up in response. Is this a permissions issue or some setting I need to look into?
I need to be able to allow new registrations! Has anyone come across this problem and found a solution?

Do you have allowed over Global Config the User Registration ??

I am having this same problem, but I do not understand where to look for this setting. You mention the User Registration but is this a module I'm looking for, a section in Fireboards configuration, or somewhere else?
I am using Joomla 1.5 and the latest version of Fireboard. If someone could clarify with more details for a dummy, it would be greatly appreciated!

Hi!
The setting is in the Joomla! Admin under Global Configuration -> System -> User Settings -> Allow User Registration. Check the "Yes".
