Not sure that is fair really. I think that if a person comes along and writes a piece of software and wants to charge for it, then that is great. Developers have to eat also. But the problem with these guys from ossolutions is that they:

1. advertise the product on this forum.

2. answer questions on this forum about the product.

Then what people do is

1. find it here

2. go there

3. come back here when they do not respond to people trying to buy

So I think that carlosys is quite justified in airing his customer complaints here on this forum. The whole thing however is very indicative of many Joomla shops and development outfits. Sadly it brings down the Joomla and Extensions community and undermines the ability for users to adopt the use of open source.

You should register to the site, go to download section and download the file . We cannot send to it to everyone .

Um backups? You guys are supposed to be pros and don't have backups. Of ANYthing it seems.

And to the other user. I'm saying no one should have to pay for a converter since BoJ PROMISED one almost from the very beginning and never delivered one. If they had come through people having to pay for THIS converter would not be necessary.

Who is this person that promissed a converter for free? It was made clear that the free version is an old apparently buggy version and that the new one is an improved one with bug fixes, is this not right? If you charge for something you say it from the start, very unprofessional behaviour overall

The free version has almost feature of the converters . The only lack feature which they don't have is convert PMS messages which most of you don't need to have . You said that the free version buggy ? Many users had used it and successfully converted from SMF to fireboard .

I have searched the downloads and I can't find it either. What a waste of time this is.
