I tryed with two diferents email accounts. You have some problem with mail in your server..!

It took me forever to find this info too, but it is here:

I just successfully migrated from SMF under J!1.0.x to Fireboard under J!1.5 on another server... can't say it was simple, but it seems to have worked. Had to dump the Jos_sb tables and move them to the new database first, but after that it... well, it was still a pain in the a**, but what can you do?

Finally, we completed smf to fireboard commercial version today. This version have some nice improvements . However, the biggest improvement is the password issue . You can now have three options for converting password :

1. Keep smf password
2. Use default password
3. Generate random password and send this new password to user email

Please log-in your account and download it again .

The only thing is that the posts now have html characters like <br> and &nspb mixed in. Does anyone know if there is something to be done about this?

I tried to register on the joomservices.com site a while ago but never got the confirmation email.

I actually just went in and dumped the old tables (jos_sb_messages & jos_sb_messages_text) from the old db and inserted them into the new tables (same names, just fb instead of sb) and that worked for me. I took the sb dump file, renamed the commands for those two tables to fb, emptied the existing fb tables, and inserted the data through phpmyadmin (or do it through the shell, either way)...

The files I linked to got the users all transferred though, which was HUGE. Then all I had to do was sync users through CommunityBuilder and they all dropped into place with no problems...

Funny, I still have no ability to login all I get is "Incorrect username or password. Please try again."

When I send for New Password, it never arrives.
