NEED HELP PLEASE: Fireboard Error Message 11 Months ago
Hello!

I am currently using fireboard for my joomla website: www.zetix-clan.com

But there is a problem in which when I go onto my forums it gives the following error message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function jimport() in /home/wooby1/public_html/components/com_fireboard/fireboard.php on line 177

I have no understanding of why this may be so I call for assistence. Can anyone out there kindly point me in the right direction to solve this very annoying problem?

I am currently running version 1.0 of joomla and FireBoard_1.0.4_Stable_CompletePackage

See this problem happened after I tried to change the theme of FB after I had converted the forums from SMF to Fireboard. I can still log in to my fireboard administration panel.

Thankyou

P.S: I am sorry if this post is in the wrong place and so please move it if so.

go to components/com_fireboard/sources/ and see if the the file fb_pdf.php exists. Line 177 is a call for that file function. If it IS there then in your admin panel, Fireboard Configuration, disable "Allow PDF" Choose NO.

Let me know if this works for you.

Thanks for the help there but it wasn't sucessful. I found the file you were talking about and then checked my fireboard config. All I found was 'Enable PDF creation'. I couldn't find 'Allow PDF'. Nonetheless, I took 'no' to 'enable PDF creation' and it didn't work. Can you help me anymore?

Thankyou.

Try default template and see just for testing. I want to see if your FB template is broken somewhere.

Re:NEED HELP PLEASE: Fireboard Error Message 11 Months ago
Hello,

I just tried switching my forums to default but nothing... the same error message happens when I view my forums:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: jimport() in /home/wooby1/public_html/components/com_fireboard/fireboard.php on line 177

I have tried replacing the fireboard.php with the original and that didn't work. Maybe I did something wrong there but I don't think so. It was strange when it happened because I had just converted the old smf forums to fireboard, uploaded and installed a new fb template ('by-tmrsk-blue). It seemed to work just fine. But then there was an error message of something to do with a php nat failour couldn't locate templates in html.php in the other template I installed a while back. So I quickly switched back to the 'by-tmrsk-blue' template. That is where the problem happened.

Basically I shouldn't have switched to the other template after the 'by-tmrsk-blue' was working great.

Have you got any more ideas?

Thankyou

Yes that may be a good idea but I have been working on the current template for a quite a bit. Would be a shame to destroy it and then re-make. Also, converting the old forums 'smf' to fireboard again would be hard as I do not know what to do. Maybe some help on it would be great?

Thankyou.

Edit: I have just got a message back from my hosts asking them about the same problem:

That particular error means that when it tries to call the function jimport() it cannot find it. This is an error with the script. You might need to reupload a functions file to fix it, if that doesnt help you would need to contact the developer.

Does that shine any light to you about the problem?

Thankyou.
