mod_fblatest & mod_last_subject errors 1 Year, 7 Months ago

hi guys,
i have downloaded & tested mod_fblatest 1.1 and mod_last_subject 2.8 from this site itself. installation went smooth but the problem happen when i start to enable them in my site. it seems like i can view the posts from mod_fblatest and mod_last_subject when im only in ADMIN mode. i test it using a dummy nick with no admin privilges, but upon clicking, i was shown this message "You are not authorised to view this resource."
I double checked the permissions in both the modules & fireboard as well. and i for all, it was made public. i try to fiddle around with different access modes, but yet stil no avail.
The module wont ever let me see its content in the forum when im in a regular member status.
please help me out as at current i have to revert back to my old joomlaboard's mod_jblatest instead of mod_fblatest.
cheers

when i was setting them up, i put all of it as registered. i have to change it to public to see if the problem persist, but it was still errorneous.
i gotta question here..is mod_fblatest & mod_last_subject is depandant on Fireboard itself? As for fireboard, I have set the privilege access only to registered members.
cheers

I also experience this problem. I can't see that I have any wrong settings, I've double-checked lots of times.
My whole site, including the fireboard component and the latest post module is for registered users only.
It's a pity since the users believe the forum's not up and running at all when the links don't work.
I use fuQaHa's edit of the latest post module, which I like the most.
Doesn't anyone have an idea about how to solve this problem?

I something read in an earlier thread (can't find it right now) in the forum that gave me an idea.
If you look at the item ID in the link in Latest-module, the ID is two numbers off the actual item ID if you find the thread through the ordinary forum links.
How can I tell the module to use the correct ID?

I have the same problem. Clean install, and using the Latest posts (all kinds..) links causes a Not Authorized error ..
Any clues ?
