Hello everybody. many of fireboard users want top posters or top karma users but there none of them. why? if there is modules like them, where are they? thnx

isn't there any modules like theese? or can't anyone make?

well i definately think that there should be some more modules for Fireboard. There are hardly any for J1.5 and especially J1.5 Native.

I use to use mosdashboard when i used joomlaboard. However, now since fireboard has progressed the code now obviously doesnt still work. maybe its a few small changes to update it so that it works with the latest fireboard, or maybe its a whole rewrite. Ive included the file so that people can have a play with it, and maybe make an updated fireboard version.

Cant remember where i got it from originally.

The module had options to display:

Top Threads
Top Posters

Many thanks for that file Iv quickly modified it to work with 1.0.4

Not sure about 1.0.5

But its a nice module , I will upload it later as its quite late now.

What I notice is that when you have the top 5 posters and top 5 karma, it does not link to the profile so I could easily add an option to link to either fb or cb profiles depends how interested people are

maybe we should submit it to the Best of Joomla download modules or Joomla Extensions as it is a pain to try and find fireboard modules.

Done, needs some more changes but I dont mind upgrading it and what not

Please read what I said in my posta I state that Iv modified the file to work with 1.0.4 and possibly previous versions

So if you install the version I attached in my previous posts it should work on 1.0.4

ok, ive had a quick moment to have a play with this and ive added some comments/requests below to help make this module better.

1. the different options (eg Random Posts) dont display the correct option. example is i choose the module to show Random posts, but it shows Karma.
2. could we remove the option of the which board and just make it for fireboard
3. remove all references where possible to older boards. im not sure if you can rename all references to sb (eg sb_session) to fb, but it would be good if you could so that it is all current code and has no leftovers from the old days.
4. is it possible to make it J1.0 and J1.5 Native?

These updates / changes would make this module even better.
