Norwegian translation 1 Year, 2 Months ago
This translation is not complete, I'm still working on it, and would like some second opinions. Please download and share your thoughts. Icons included for the default template.

OK - finally done with all the text and icons. What's left to be done now is testing. Hopefully someone will try it and give some feedback on what they think. I will continue to work on it I guess, as some oddities pops up now and then.

For all you norwegians out there; how would you translate the Sticky stuff.

Hi!

Great job! I started on a translation myself b4 I saw you had done this great job. Since there is no need to invent the wheel multiple times; I have done some changes like:

spøkelses-emne - spøkelsesemne
rulle-liste - nedtrekksmeny
forumcode - forumkode
Vis Bot Referanse Kart – Vis botreferanse
Aktiver diskusjons Bot – Aktiver diskusjonsbot
E-mail – E-post
bekjentgjørelser – kunngjøringer
mderasjon – moderasjon
Få din database oppdater til - Få din database oppdatert til
onnlegg – innlegg
benutte – benytte
Email Moderatorer - E-post til moderatorer

and some that I forgot to log. I suggest using "festet" for sticky and "løsne" for unstick. What do you think about that?

Yours sincerely
Tor Arne Pedersen

Thank you very much for your input!!!

I've included all your suggestions + alot more.

I think I'll stick with "prioritert" for the sticky stuff.

As soon as I have a new power-supply for my main laptop I'll also redo the "Svar emne" pic. I decided to go for the term "tråd" instead, so it will bee "Svar tråd".

Here's the new file:

I do agree with you that "prioritet" is better. Well done.

Can someone give me a hint on how to install the language pack? I figured that I put the norwegian.php in the language folder, but where and how can I activate it and set it to default?

And where do I put the pictures?

Heisan.

PS: Vi kan visst snakke norsk her
