If a single thread gets no definitive result what would dedicating a whole category to it do?

Separate the various converter options unto their own threads so that each can be easily accessed and deemed worthy or unworthy of attention. Right now, each post is like a needle in a haystack with no order whatsoever.

And start this all over again? No single offering has yielded definitive results. So instead of ONE thread you'll have many. Over the course of time the SAME thing happening in this one will happen to all of them and there will be MASS confusion. People don't even post in the right categories to begin with.

At least then you can identify the various options available. You can tag some as obsolete, others as possible solutions until their deemed otherwise. It would require a moderator who can split the topic accordingly, which doesn't seem to be among us.

Either way, it's a hell of a lot better than weeding through the 44 pages of unorganized utterances we now have.

Hi, im using Joomla 1.5 and tried to convert from SMF 1.14. At first stage i got the following error :

i ran the convertor, my problem is with the users... for some strange reason it only imports 13 users out of my 1960 users... anyone have any clue on why? all these users are active users of the forums

Hi, please look in your Database if user 13 or 14 have a special Charakter in his Name ( ä, ö etc )
