Check if any of your users in the phpbb forum uses any fancy usernames (i.e. apostrophe ' or a space or sth like that). With a userbase such as yours it's very likely at least one user uses a fancy name...
The modded script by gene, doesn't solve that issue...

Yes, there are users with specials characters like |, spaces and others... Will be a better patch? Or any workaround?

I modified the script to work with fancy usernames (it's the my mod from the original script, but with the mods from gene as well -> maybe we should streamline this script uploading somewhere...)

Let me know if this worked... If this didn't solve your problem then I don't know yet what the solution is...

PD: I haven't deleted any table, only applied yours new modded patch. Should I delete all FireBoard tables and reinstall again?

Well, the path installs users into the jos_users table so you should take a look there too...

I have not a clue yet what the problem might be... somehow it doesn't import users at all... otherwise it would have said: admin: 62 - NEW, OK

So what you might try is changing the username of the first user in phpbb or joomla (typically admin) to something else and retry... Maybe that works... I know it doesn't make sense, but I have that problem while my first username in my phpbb forum isn't admin...

Testing again but no luck...

- My forum is Spanish so there are characters like Ñ ñ that English doesn`t have.

Hi,

Can someone help me with step by step instructions?

I have a phpbb forum in A domain and I would like to shift the whole forum to B domain and just direct A domain to B domain. B domain is using Joomla so I was thinking to use FireBoard instead. So how do I do that since my phpBB is a different database and infact different domain too (ha!)

erm...I need more clearer instructions please...I cannot figure out what to do with the converter zip file
