Views should only record unique users.

Multiple views from the same user increases the Views.

It would probably be better if a check is made for the same users before a View is recorded.

Otherwise it is quite easy to increase the views falsely giving credence to less important posts.

I really do appreciate your observational skills.
Very good to "get it" with so little data.

Yes, I am running a HostMonitor on the URL which will get the views to over 1,000 rather soon.
Only to make the point.
It is very easy to manipulate the Views when there is no IP check.

Users look at Views as an indication of importance.
Too easy to manipulate now.

Over 1,000 Views in less than a half an hour.

Not reality, but . . .
Forum scumbags will undoubtedly exploit this situation.

Need to check IP and/or host when counting Views.
