Hi,

I'm currently installing Fireboard 1.0.4 in Joomla 1.5.3.
When I install this file "FireBoard_1.0.4_Stable_CompletePackage.zip" on the install screen it just loads up for a few seconds then it gives me blank page. Any idea why is this happening? By the way, I'm already on legacy mode.

TIA

@Stasys

Thanks for the reply.

I also downloaded 1.0.5 in Joomla website. I also tried installing it but it still gives me a blank page. I'm really wondering what causes this problem.

Hi,

I've installed Fireboard 1.0.4 on Joomla 1.5.3. The only problem I have is that when I'm not logged into the joomla site, I can't access the board. I get the message "Direct Access is not allowed."

The Forums link is on my main menu and I've checked to make sure that it's set to Public access. I've also turned on all public access in my Forum config and on the individual forums themselves, and I still can't get to the forums from the main site. I changed all permissions to 755 as well.

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

Do you have debug on in Joomla configuration? If so, this is probably the problem.

I have installed joomla 1.5.3 and fireboard 1.0.4 stable and for some reason when I set the permissions for a forum to registered the only way registered members can view the forum is if I change the permissions for the forum from registered to everyone then back to registered.

After that all registered subscribers can see the forum but not anyone that registers afterwords.

I saw that this was an issue several months back but have seen no resolution to this issue.

Is there any code hacks that have been done to get around this permissions issue?

Thanks in advance for any help.

same problem here. Cant believe there is no way to fix this.....

PLEASE read the message. It tells you EXACTLY what you have to do. It is compatible.

It requires Legacy mode to be ON. So turn it on.
