Just gave a try to Foul Filter mambot. I was curious at whether the bad words submutted in FB posts are filtered out and man, it worked.

I recommend you it if you worry of such words.

I couldn't get this to filter in Fireboard. Did you? Or does this module filter only site content as opposed to Fireboard postings?

Well, first it really replaced the matching words with **** , it was with the default words. When I added some other words, it didn't work I was glad untimely.

Playing more with Foul Filter, I resolved its trick. Well, it works! But only when the bad word is in a sentence. When you enter only a bad word, it won't be censored. Neither in the subject.

Hi there,

what did you do exactly to get this foul filter to work. I have installed the latest (1.03) foul filter and published the mambot and when I search the posts are shown with the bad words showing.

If you view in the forum these disguised as I am using badwords 2...

any news on what tinkering you have done would be appreciated.
