I've created a Fireboard forum with different subforums with access depending on what level the user is at - the trouble I'm having is no matter what settings I'm using the individual forums don't appear under the category.

The users can see the forums that have their access level OK, but they can't see ones under their own access level - however if they click show recent posts on something from the other category they can read it... I'm very confused

Any help appreciated.

UPDATE: I download this fix which solved the above problem but created a new one.

When an author has access to forum 1, and it gets upgraded to Editor so he can see forum 2 it works - forum 2 is hidden while he only has access to forum 1.
Now... when you upgrade him so he can see Forum 2, then take away his ability to see Forum 2 and only to see Forum 1 he can still see both forums, one of which should now be hidden to him.

I've cleared cache, etc but the problem persists.

Bump - really need help with this...
