TOPIC: CSS Integration?

CSS Integration? 1 Year, 5 Months ago
while searching the extensions forums on joomla.org, i came across the link to this forum.
this is great! we really, really needed this. I have had several discussions with guys in my area about joomboard and the desire for something better. The bridges to other packages are just way to buggy, and hard to implement. To this day my friends are battling the smf bridge that I have given up on a long time ago.
There are many things i really like about joomboard, the two that i like the most is the fact that you can install it, and it just works, no hassles.
The other is that i can set the template to default and it pulls all the css from the site and melts right in. I don't have to mess with templates at all if i don't want to.
I do realize that most developers like to have custom templates. i however prefer to modify the whole site and have the changes show everywhere including the forums. it makes things cleaner, and much easier.
so i have a question, is this feature still included in this package? If not can it be included? I would be great to be able to just install it and not have to use custom templates or css for it.

Thanks for all the hard work,i will be telling my friends about this and watching for the stable version. since im not a coder, i cant do much but wait and lurk.

If you take a look at the forum you will see that most of the visuals are managed by a single CSS. Easier than this? change it and it will change the whole forum

I would also like to see an option to pull from the website's CSS. Many newer templates from Joomlart for example, allow users to select color prefs and adjust font size etc on the fly. So it would be benificial when the users change colors that the forum would follow suit. It would be great to have Fireboard to allow the same functionality that Joomlaboard currently allows for these templates.

Again, Thanks for all the hard work.
