THIS IS GREAT NEWS!!!!!

We just migrated one site from JoomlaBoard to SMF due to the fact, that JoomlaBoard simply couldn't run properly when we eventually reached 500.000+ posts.

We WOULD like an integrated forum instead of bridging SMF, so FireBoard seems to be sent like an angle from heaven

I have a question, though: how would FireBoard handle 500.000+ posts better than JoomlaBoard?

When comparing the amount of read instructions to the database in JoomlaBoard with the same in FireBoard, how do the two components compare?

How about just installing it and comparing it? We have to still work on the SQL, but for this we need a bit more time and more people So, even if FB can't handle it keep working with your solution till we get to it

We're not going to import 500.000 posts into a beta just to check out performance, when YOU can easily tell us, if the database read-structure has been improved

I'm afraid not much for now. I have to use this forum on a 100k site too (not as much as yours), so anyway I have to optimize it. So, for now, keep in touch. It was already a long step from JB to FB.
