Does anyone know if the Dorona Brown template will work with the soon to be released stable version of FB?

don't know exactly however there are two version out: one for FB 1.0.0 and one for 1.0.1 (or 1.0.2RC2) and above:
joomlacode.org/gf/project/fireboard/frs/...;frs_package_id=2330

You will have to use dorona_brown_1.0.0_beta.zip respectively dorona_brown_1.0.1.b.zip for 1.0.1 (or 1.0.2RC2) or above.

As mentioned before I don't know exactly since I'm currently running 1.0.2RC2 and installed the second file.

It was posted that the layout or any appropriated file does not change anymore since the 1.0.2RC2 release, so I guess you can successfully run the latest dorona with 1.0.3 stable, too.
