Error when trying to Edit Basic Forum Installation 11 Months, 4 Weeks ago
I upgraded to FireBoard 1.0.3 following the upgrade instructions.

When I make changes to the Basic Forum Installation and try to save, I get this error message:

fbforun:tore failed Unkknow column 'class_sfx' in 'field list' SQL=UPDATE jos_fb_categories SET 'parent'='0', 'name'="TRANSISTIONS', 'locked'='0', 'moderated'='0'.'pub_access'='0','pub_recurse' ='0', 'admin_acess'='25', 'admin_recurse' ='0', 'ordering' = '2', review' ='0','description' =,'class_WHERE id='3'

This sounds like a database problem. Check PHPMyAdmin and see if you jos_fb_categories actually has an entry for class_sfx

I checked and there is no entry for class_sfx.

When I upgraded - I just ftp'd the new files as the installation instructions said. I did nothing with the database.

Read the install manual and run the appropriate SQL statements for your specific upgrade scenario.

The SQL files are in a folder called "Upgrade" which is part of the release zip file
