The mambot nino (for Latex) works fine in content items. but when i want to use it in a forum post, everything i get is
{nino}
\sqrt {3}
{/nino}

or with another mambot:
{tab=first tab}
some text
here
{tab=other tab}
some more text here
{/tabs}

is it possible to use mambots in J1.5 with fireboard?

Have you checked with the developer of the plugin to see if it is compatible with 1.5 AND can be used with FireBoard?

can you give me an example of a mambot which works with J1.5 and Fireboard so that i can test if mambots in general work?

I've tried it with the "old" joomla 1.0.15 now and everything works as it should. so Im pretty sure it has to do something with the incompatibility of J1.5 and Fireboard.

Until this bugs are vanished I think I will use a wrapper with the 1.0 jommla and a clear page template to embed it into my site.

Has anyone got plugins working within messages with Joomla 1.5?

I have upgraded the Joomla installation and they have stopped working.
