Just do this:
1.Copy ur current template through site ftp in templates, and rename it to forum
2.remove all the body tags calling for the modules
3.keep the load body tag there
4.save it and assign it to the forum only
--
5.goto its css(site templates)
6.there u will find for body:
float = right
change it to
float = center

7.voila!
done!

pm me if theres any confusion!
I have attached the template edited with this post!
File Attachment:
File Name: js_empire_forum.zip
File Size: 44090

I don't really have need for this tip but for people that might, may need a little more detail could you explain if you are talking about the Joomla template or Fireboard template.

Also could you go into more detail concerning steps 2 & 3 "2.remove all the body tags calling for the modules 3.keep the load body tag there"? those instructions are really vague for someone totally unfamiliar with Joomla/Fireboard tempates. Where is this removal to take place?

And finally, will this work on any template? JS Empire is a nice template but rather limited and not as robust as some.

... but don't forget to assign your running joomla template to any other menu item else unassigned menu items will use the default template which is almost empty!

Btw. There is another basic template available in the joomla template library called 'basic' made available by http://puntaltenses.com.ar.

This solution works for me:
