the code ended up being the problem the smilies need to have a certain syntax to how they are typed basically...

you'd need to figure out how to change the syntax they use the thing is if you dont use that syntax they dont work without a code change and im not really to privvy on where you would make those changes but it can be done....

I have done a search for this, and cannot find it.. so I'll post it here, till I get told off!

I have a weird issue with smilies. I have even reverted back to the default template. Here is what happenes when I add a post with emoticons..

Note how adding emoticons causes this weird scrollybar to appear and the post looks tiny.

I saw this earlier in a post. It seems that smilies (of maybe certain smilies) cannot be the last thing in a post. So it was reported anyway.
