Unknown column '_FB_TOPLEVEL' in 'field list' 1 Year, 4 Months ago

when i go to the page to add a forum to the forum, this is the entire message that is displayed above the "add category/forum" area
[code:1]Notice: Unknown column '_FB_TOPLEVEL' in 'field list' in Y:devdocrootjoomlaincludesdatabase.php on line 294
Y:devdocrootjoomlaincludesdatabase.php:485
Y:devdocrootjoomlaadministratorcomponentscom_fireboardadmin.fireboard.php:485
Y:devdocrootjoomlaadministratorcomponentscom_fireboardadmin.fireboard.php:202
Y:devdocrootjoomlaadministratorindex2.php:69[/code:1]
my joomla install is pretty clean as far as modules & components. this is the only thing that isn't stock, save for a bunch of templates.
Additionally, the instructions for creating a category say "To create a Category, choose 'Top Level Category' as a Parent." which would be great, but 'Top Level Category' isn't a choice in the dropdown. before (and after even) installing the sample data, all i had available was "No Parent"
thx in advance.

OBTW... everything functions fine. that error is consistent tho, as is the lack of a 'Top Level Category' option.

I'm getting the same error with version 1.0.3... anyone knows a fix for it?

OK, I'm not getting the error, but 'Top Level Category' isn't showing up. To check, I switched debug on, and started getting the error. Switched it back off, and no error, but still can't create categories. Anyone know what's going on? Clean install Fireboard 1.0.3

I'm having the exact same issue. I can create a forum using 'No Parent' and can create child forums under that, but without the 'Top Level Category' nothing shows up (since there's no container). I've looked everywhere for an answer, but nothing yet. Will post if I figure it out (but hopefully someone will post before I do with a fix).

Ok, this is how I worked around it for now...I installed sample data, modified that to what I needed, then built off of that. It seems to have worked...for now.
