gurbir:
Load a page with an editor from your back end and view the source. Copy off the TinyMCE config from there and paste it into fb_write.html.php in place of my config. Should work.

I tried this code see if the mambot button would show and it does, the button dont appear in the best of places

The code wont show but it was the doclink button

And Update

Simply have this code

theme_advanced_buttons1_add : "preview, emotions,
moveforward, movebackward, ibrowser, forecolor,
",

It adds a button to change the font colour, Im guessing other buttons will work this was too, ill keep testing

Hi,

Thnx for your help. that helped me alot. Now i have all the functions that TINYMCE has. But now there is one problem. Whenever i post something in big font like "36", it overwrite the lines and when i try to post any smiley from TINYMCE, it only gives me the code for smiley. I think BBCODE is interfering with it but not sure. Can you please help me with that?

Here is the screenshot : img214.imageshack.us/img214/7479/ssbojst2.jpg

Thnx

I'm not sure what you mean by "the code for smiley." The problem with large font sizes is probably related to a fixed "line-height" setting in your template's .css file. Look under #msgtext.

gurbir:

1. Easy smiley fix is to look at the path to smileys inside your source code. You'll notice that for some reason the path says "tiny_mce" instead of "tinymce" or something like that--don't know what messes it up. Just recreate that path and copy off the smileys from the tinymce folder.

2. Look in your Fireboard template css for msgtext or something similar and comment out line-height setting if any.

I tried evrything but no luck. There are lines for line-height and i commented them out but still same issue. BTW i think this is a know bug in 1.0.4 stable as it is also listed here : www.bestofjoomla.com/component/option,co...w/id,35480/catid,79/ (last issue in the thread )

Can you or anyone else please help me?

If it's a carriage return issue what does it have to do with this mod? THIS mod works. So much so that it's included in all future releases. According to the bug-tracker this was "Fixed in or before SVN 550".

As flattered as I am to hear that my mod will be included (don't know if it's true), I'm also wondering if there will be some mods to the mod so that we can take advantage of the new bbcode parser as a dual functionality and also as another line of security. Right now, I haven't had time to convert html posts to bbcode before storing into the db but it should be fairly easy to implement. Do you know if anyone has taken that up?
