I'm not sure if anyone has taking this task up. The only way to see is if it is in the bugtracker as a bug or feature request. If not it should be added. I know fxstein is DEEP into work on some automation projects but I'm sure SOMEone can take ownership of this issue.

Whenever we put space more than once in the post, it shows these signs "&n b s p;&n b s p;&n b s p;&n b s p;&n b s p;&n b s p; ", How can i fix that? ( i put spaces in it bcos its html and we cant put html directly in to post here bcos then it just shows space )

Can you tell me from where can i fix that?

Where can I find info on getting ahold of the latest SVN? I've been interested in this feature, but didn't want to manually hack up my fb install myself for fear of utter meltdown. Searches for SVN turned up nothing, well, cept this topic

Find it on the Joomlacode tracker. SVN is not a "version". It's not a beta or even an alpha. If you think you're just going to download it as a patch and install it think again.

If you can't even get FCKeditor to appear in the post window, then you need to be looking at its readme and howto. I don't know what the steps are to get it installed. Once it's installed properly, then I can help you with certain integration issues.

I think what you want is the latest version of the FB code with this mod implemented. That's not going to happen any time soon, I think. So you'll have to get a beta up and test it on there if you really want it. The developers of FB are working hard on a new bbcode parser and I'm certain they won't throw away long hours to backtrack and go in a different direction. So my guess is we won't be seeing this mod in the SVN nor later versions.

1. Like I said in an earlier post, I'm aware of the wrong path for smileys issue but after two days of looking around I couldn't figure out what causes it. The quick fix is to create the wrong path on your server and copy the smiley icons there.

2. "&n b s p;" is a non-breaking space and my guess is the new bbcode parser causes that because I don't have the issue on my older FB. Look inside your page code and tell me why this character doesn't get translated into a space. Are there any backslashes or '&' or other characters preceding it?

Lol I know what an SVN is. It technically could be considered the latest version (albiet not a numbered version) because it IS the latest code release up to that moment. I don't consider it OT whatsoever, as you said it was in the SVN and future releases (unless that info was inaccurate), which was why I wanted to know how to get the svn, lol.. But whatever.. Tnx for the info, now to just figure out whether or not it IS in the svn or not.

I have FCK working in Joomla, thats not the problem.

But i can't get it to work in FB
