For some reason my 1.0.3. version loads when you go to it then reloads again, so I am getting double loading. Is this normal? Also the bored seems very slow to load anything...I never had a problem with speed till I installed FB...is this also normal?

It is a known issue that was fixed a little while ago by a patch. I don't have time to look for the link but do a search and you might be able to locate it. If I find it before you I'll post it.

I had the same issue on one of my old servers.
Seems the Stats plugin is causing the slowdown.

You can disable it but you will also need to implement following fixes:

Fireboard slow-down because of stats plug

Missing postcounts, karma etc.

Ok I checked out the links and the double load fix doesn't work for me. I am not a programmer so line coding is something I don't really like to mess with. I didn't realize I would have to disable the stats feature to gain speed...I mean I actually want my stats. I will just hope that these things will be addressed as a patch or in the next version.

There is a lot of hope in me for this...I don't want to SMF anymore like many when you have so much potential here. I know the team is doing a great job and I thank them for getting to where they are on this.
