HI. Sorry about this question, but I'm new to fireboard and forums in general. Is there any disadvantage in fireboard compared to smf or phpbb3?

Also, is there anyway to remove the powered by fireboard down at the bottom?

Advantage? There's a lot of advantages! First of all fireboard can implement mambots now, which means you can use your favorite mambot. You can easily include it in your website1 The membership is also integrated so no more hacks needed. Disadvantages are fireboard doesnt offer much plugins (but will soon have in the near feature). There's still some bugs yet those are still tolerable. Fireboard is quite young, but have big future around it!

At this stage after the last 1.0.3 release, I wouldn't even consider starting a Joomla site with any other forum installed. There is no other forum simpler, especially when integrated with Joomla.

How about when the forum grows large. I heard that's the primary advantage of vubulletine is that it's better for large forums. Can someone comment on the speed of fireboard vs the others? thanks.
