In the meantime you can use PollXT, rely on the bot tags to show the poll (and the poll results) in the first post. A little crude, but it works

Incredibly crude, and it really doesn't work for my users. Voting in a poll in the forum using the PollXT bot results in being bounced to the front page of the forum---it looks like an error to users. They have to hunt down the poll thread again. Mostly, they just end up confused.

Re:Poll 11 Months ago
Hi,

So I am trying to figure out this mess, Joomla has a Poll module, Fireboard pretty much has nothing.
How hard would it be to wrap the Poll module inside a post in terms of code integration?

Or would it be easier to hijack phpBB's poll system and jimmy it into Fireboard?

Thanks

I think you can work around that by putting the thread URL as the exit URL for the poll config. The only time it won't work is if the user's already voted and tried to go there again (in which case they end up on "results".

Use this solution:

It works fantastically!
