Stasys
I see even much more bugs not on the list and we're fixing lot of them.
First of all we decided a selection of most important problems to be solved for 1.0.4 whereas some minor ones will remain.
However if someone provides a patch or if we see a smooth solution it will be included ASAP. Feel free to start off debugging those issues and provide functional patches to get them away.

These are busy days for all of us and i'm looking forward to bring a two digit number of hours again back into this project within next 3 days.

Releasing another stable needs extensive testing else if you fix 15 bugs, another 10 new come up. That's what we all want to avoid - for your satisfaction.

In other words: This remains an open source project where resources are limited and everybody is invited to contribute.

Sorry for the silence you all will hear from me within short time.
*wink*

Miro,
thanks for info, I understand that this is an open source project where resources are limited.

Should I look at joomlacode.org/gf/project/fireboard/scmsvn/ for all new commits?

Who are still active FireBoard developers? Are they still interested in rapid FireBoard development, or is it just a hobby?

Best regards,
Stasys

A number of proposed fixes for 1.0.3 and of course J1-5 were committed to svn recently. We have been using svn for a while now and one of the major annoyances, the double page load of the forum seems to have been resolved. If you are quite comfortable using an unstable release, which for us has been stable, maybe worth checking out.

I'll just wait for the next release. I had so many hacks with my fireboard and than it became rescinded with 1.0.3.

Does the latest svn work with Joomla 1.5 in legacy mode?
Any updates on FB 1.0.4 and FB 1.5 status?

Re:Far project evolution 1 Year ago
We're about to release 1.0.4 which is exactly current SVN (release/1.0 folder).

Currently any background information document is early draft. you can see release information here:
www.bestofjoomla.net/wiki/doku.php?id=co...d:release_1.0:1.0.4:

Yes, this release is intended for Joomla 1.5 legacy, but has been tested only with RC3 as far as i know. However i don't expect anything to be subject of change for us.

Current task is to improve the whole project presentation and open all information to the community.
Then after we will start again to do what we initially where talking about: evolving FireBoard!

Thanks.
I hope to test this with 1.5 legacy soon.

EDIT: How can I download the svn package? Isn't there a zip file?

However you could also watch joomlacode.org project tracker for a total overview.
And you could checkout SVN there to have an intension on latest revision (r1.0) for preparing 1.0.4.

GrEeZ! Miro

Miro,

on tracker I still see 36 Open Count bugs, and no one is assigned to fix them.

How long is few weeks? Does it mean 1.0.4 is on hold?

While it is true that there are bugs open, many are under investigation, some are configuration errors, a few are unconfirmed and the majority are cosmetic in nature.

We have been working day and night for the past couple of weeks fixing bugs. 1.0.4 is imminent and a HUGE improvement to any prior FireBoard version.

I encourage you and others to join in an help confirm, fix, take care of bugs.
