|
|
|
Hi all
I have installed the FireBoard v1.0.3 stabile.
In the Forum Administration --> modify category (at the botton page) there isn't the NEW botton for adding moderators......
In the User Adminstration I see only 2 users ( in the #__users there are 10 people registered) ?????
Please help me.
Thanks

It should but it doesn't happen on the front end.
In forum administration.
"Moderated: yes/no Set to "Yes" if you want to be able to assign Moderators to this forum.
Note: This doesn't mean that new post must be reviewed prior to publishing them to the forum!
You will need to set the "Review" option for that on the advanced tab.
Please do note: After setting Moderation to "Yes" you must save the forum configuration first before you will be able to add Moderators using the new button."

I know what you are talking about. There is no NEW button to add moderators in the forum administrator. I think the text on the Forum Administration page is misleading. It says you "...will be able to add Moderators using the new button" but there is no new button and the only way that I could see to assign moderators was from the User Administrion page.
Select User Administration, select the user you want to assign as a moderator. Change their Rank Title to "Moderator" and at the bottom of the info page you have the option to assign them as a moderator to as many forums as you like.

Viperfish ..... Change their Rank Title to "Moderator" ???
what is 'Rank Title' ????
in Users administration I have 'Group' not 'Rank Title'.
Users Administration in backend of Joomla or in Fireboard Users Administration ?
In Fireboard Users Administration I see only Superuser administration group users....
