The only you need to do is to upload the file profilebox.php to the components/com_fireboard/template/default/plugin/profilebox directory on your server, updating the existing file (I recommend to rename better than overwrite it).

Thanks Heaps great plugin , I am using this plugin on one of my sites http://www.sydneyslive.com.au . I like how the new version when you click logout it does not redirect to the root of the site. It just stays in the forum .

Nicely done.

But after login it still says hello guest so it doesn't log me in.
also i can't see a register link only the forgot password link.
I have community builder also so there is a connection missing during login.
I hope you can fix this because i'm not into php programming.

I installed your modified version of the profilebox file. Everything looks good and it's exactly how I want it to look, but the logout button doesn't seem to work properly. I'm not sure whether there's something in Fireboard that is causing this or whether it's my Joomla installation (using Joomla 1.0.13).

When I press the logout button in Fireboard it doesn't log me out it takes me to a page with another logout button and a back button (see attached image).

When I press the logout button on this page nothing happens.

Where is this page coming from. I'm sure I've been able to logout in the past with the Joomla login box. But now even that is not working. And after removing your file and replacing it with the old file, I still can't logout.

Do you have any ideas what could be causing this problem?

I've Tried Firefox and IE6.

Try Pepin's link with "remember me":

Note: This works for Joomla 1.0.13 (maybe will work 1.0.x) and FB 1.0.3.

i think you are getting this message cause you are logged into the admin area. ie.www.yourdomain.com/administator/. log out of your site completly then login only in the forum. then try the logout . this should work. I sometimes get this message but only when i logged into the backend.

It was a good idea. I tested it out by logging out of my windows login and logging into my site frontend on another unused windows login. But still get the same problem.

If it's any help when I go back to the original version of fireboard and press the login link, I get taken to a page saying

"You are not authorised to view this resource.
You need to login."
