So if I want to use CommunityBuilder and Groups what solutions are there? Can I use Community BUilder integrated FB with FB groupsystem. Will the FB Groupsystem also integrate into CB then?
There is already a Groupjive-FB merged release. Why don't u work out a proper integration of the advanced GroupJive?

I fear there won't be complete integration of FB and using Groups and CB...

Well, FB must have its own grouping system and we can not depend on other components. So it may be an option to use GJ but not a solution. They guys behind GJ look pretty active and interested and I'm sure they will find a way to overcome this problem once FB is released.

just make sure u code the FB grouping system with enough hooks so that it can easily be integrated with community builder with tabs and modules and the possibility to disable showing the grouping function inside fireboard in case one chooses to show the groups in combination with CB. That way people could use the fireboard grouping system when installed and maybe wouldn't need to install GroupJive additionally.

and what is GroupJive ?

GroupJive.org: GJ is the only available solution to build Groups. Like that u can have a community with registered users and every user can open a group like "everybody who is interested in soccer"-group. That way u don't have to add everybody to your Commmunity builder buddy list, but can also organize contacts by joining or initiating groups that share the same interests...
In the end it is all networking...

but i dont understand what members have or can when they are in a group..

better u go over to Groujive.org forum and discuss that topic there maybe? They will in depth explain what group solutions can do... arent' u in any network site where u can join a group? for example when u are in a alumni site of a university u join the group "alumni of the year 2004" and all people who finished in that year will join the group and that way u can keep contact as u organize ur buddies not as buddies when they are not to close to you but in groups.

When will the next beta of Fireboard be releaset?
And will there be any more options for ranks, not the ones that are about how many post you have made, but the ones that the admin self ca set for the users?

i love these board and just want to know when you plan to release the next beta, i just need this group feature real quick and maybe a poll feature. with this two things, the board would be perfect.
