Re:Phpnuke+phpbb->Joomla+Fireboard+Community Build 1 Month, 1 Week ago
Because I got bored today I thought surfing around the net again for some Joomla templates. Now there is a template with Fireboard integrated so I thought, hmmm, let's see.

Because there is not much to really integrate phpBB with Joomla I guess Fireboard will be the way to go. And so I returned here.

Any news yet

I tried creating my own converter but there were bugs that I just couldn't get out...

Actually, I gave up on waiting for this converter, and installed phpBB3 along with jfusion (www.jfusion.org). This little module, which is still in Alpha stage for the moment, works great with integrating phpBB3 with Joomla!.

But are there templates for phpBB3 and also the same for Joomla so that the forum and the site look the same?

Because I'm a complete n00b regarding webdesing and so. I've been looking around for some good templates easy to adjust for our forums AND site but found just now a single one which uses Fireboard instead of phpBB2.

To be more precise it's a clan site I'm running now on phpNuke with a NukeToBB forum. Tons of free templates. Now Joomla has a modern look to it but there isn't much out there for clan sites that look modern.

Most likely not. I've not seen any. This will be the time to learn some CSS.

Thanx for the offer but just tested something I found.

First converted the phpNuke to phpBB and then used the converter phpBB to FB which I found here (second post): www.bestofjoomla.com/component/option,co...mit,10/limitstart,0/

It works...
Still need to check if everything deeper but at first glans it looks ok
