Re:Numinu Template Released 10 Months ago
Ok - here's an odd one, and I've scoured all of these 36 (and counting pages) and couldn't find anything. Hopefully it hasn't already been answered and I missed it.

I FINALLY got my vCard to work, BUT... for some reason as soon as the avatar is hovered over, it automatically brings the page back up to the top, *everytime*. It's like a page refresh, but if I page down again the vCard is there - hover on the image again though and whoop... we go through it again.

Any idea what this is, or what could be causing it? I use Firefox as my default browser, and that's what it's happening in (I'm scared to death to try it in IE... LOL).

The other issue I've been looking for (and of course, can't find for the life of me) is an answer as to why my quotes have *no* styling whatsoever, even though I've made alterations to the site template's blockquote definition. It just doesn't want to play nice. Any ideas?

As an aside: regarding my posts earlier about making Numinu look/behave like BOJ, I *almost* have a VERY HEAVILY hacked package ready to go out. I think.... I've had to make modifications to almost 60% of the files (it's NOT just the listcat.php file that needs altering, contrary to what I originally thought) and I'm still at it, but if I can get it to work right it'll be out by mid/end of the week I hope.

I have recently installed this template on my site (www.yourprohealth.com). I love everything about it, but it's pushing my left modules down below. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be great.

Actually IE handles it better. I had this issue and was able to resolve it but may not work for you. On of your module/position is causing the issue. In my case it was the usermenu. I simply took out everything in my left menu and my issue was resolved. I too use FireFox but IE it actually worked. For testing purposes, simply make your modules not display in your forum and see what happens. Also test to see if this happens when you are NOT logged in.

It seems that the numinu template is taking some of it's css information from the main template. To tell the truth there seems to be a lot of that going on with this template and I haven't been able to figure it all out. I'll try to work on that today and see what I come up with.

Since you are working at this, there is no sense in me kicking into it. I will work on the .css formating instead.

www.yourprohealth.com is the site. I'm using the focalpoint template from joomladesigns with the CB mod along with a few others

Can you set up a temporary username and password so that I can log in. I don't need admin permissions. I just checked and the left module is NOT being pushed down but when I click on welcome, the post is being pushed WAY out to the right.

Also go to your Forum.css and find this
.msgtext
width: 850px;
Change to 98% instead of 850.

Another thing you might want to consider is setting a parameter so that only users with a certain access level will see the tab. This is a little more advanced, and I'd have to try and hack around a bit before I can give you some advice/info on that, but the quick-fix mentioned above should do the trick for you.

I like the tabs actually. I'd rather not remove it. The Native Permissions hack works great except for allowing the private forums to be seen by registered users.

Any advice?

Something really screwy going on for sure. Looks like the template is broken here.
