And nope - using code from the default listcat does nothing but make you go prematurely bald. LOL I found that out the hard way - I actually had to WORK to make it happen.

Well thank you for pointing that out now!!!!!

LOL Why do you think I said in my earlier post that it was FAR MORE than what I'd first expected it to be? I think I've opened up just about every file that makes the template tick. For the work I did over the weekend, and the huge learning curve I had to straighten out, a MAJOR tip of the hat goes to GP and the others that have made this template what it is... It's a FANTASTIC piece of work...

Hey. I have a question and I didn't see that anyone asked it but is there anyway to make the Categories tab open by default? Even swap places with the All Discussions tab? I would use the template and even modify it if I knew this was an easy fix.

It was asked near the beginning but never answered. I looked at it and it won't be that difficult to change, I just haven't had time to work on it.
As for my post breaking it, I actually think you are right. I tried removing the code and the % sign to see but it didn't fix it LOL

@ Hazzaa:

I found out why the vCard issue is happening - it's a reaction to my built-in MooMenu on my template. I LOVE the vCard, but I love my menu system even more... LOL So I'm just going to splice the default avatar layout into the post view of the template and leave it at that - no more vCard issues.

Too bad though - it would have been nice to run both. It's too bad jQuery and Moo don't play well together. Time to send them to their rooms for a "time-out". LOL

Maybe for a future development I'll have a run at this problem, but for now the default display within the Numinu framework would do just fine, I think. It would DEFINITELY eliminate the "my VCard thingy doesn't work" posts.

Someone sent me a link for developing the vcard in mootools, I am going to work on that and get to work instead of jquery, this may help you out in the long run but again it's a matter of When I have time.
Since everything is moving more towards mootools. It may be the best option for the template.

That's what I was thinking - BUT it doesn't look bad without the vCard. I replaced the message.php file with one from the default, and aside from some formatting it looks pretty good! It eliminates the jQuery problem and keeps it functional. Granted, the vCard is one of those "bells and whistles" things that makes Numinu what it is, but it's just one.

It'd be great to have it working without a Moo conflict, but I can be VERY satisfied with the direction I'm going in. LOL

Besides, it works with or without avatars being called from CB (I've noticed that after getting the vCard issue fixed - finally - that avatars don't show up in the vCard if they're being called from CB...) I know it was addressed *somewhere* in these 40 pages but I can't be going through it again... I see this thread in my sleep! LOL

Anyone update their JQuery yet? Might (I say might) help solve some things.

I updated to 1.2.2 and it fixed most of my errors but not the vcard issue. Of course that could be something else. I really appreciate Hazzaa looking at the Mootools fix. I use to program a long time ago and maybe I could dust the rust off and look at it also.

Thanks to the community here for all the support and help!

I noticed *something* about updating jQuery the *first* time I went through these pages (that was back when it was just breaking past page 30) but couldn't find the dang link again so I left it.

I wound up taking the vCard out of my "version' of the template and replaced it with a heavily hacked/modified message.php file and it's looking pretty kick... But getting the update would probably be good considering the "created/posted date" link is doing the same thing as the vCard was...

Maybe it'd be one of those little "quick reference" links to post in the first message with all the others? I put a fix for the tabs issue up as well (the problem several people posted about having a space between the tab and the top of the forum's frame) - that might be handy to add too.

Still working on setting "Categories" as default rather than Discussions.
