Any one coming in on the tail end of this please check the first post, if you already haven't, for a centralized location of issues that have been brought to light and their respective fixes/workarounds (if any).

I think I will stick with version 1.0.0. It seems that what you benefit from upgrading isn't worth all the hassle you have to go through to upgrade. I run Oscarfishlover.com and I simply can't afford to mess up the forum, I have got too many people who use it. I have posted various messages on this forum asking someone to try and explain the upgrade in layman's terms but haven't had any luck whatsoever. It's all very well if you are an expert on Joomla and Fire board, some of us aren't, we know just about enough so we can install fresh components and make minor adjustments.

What hassle? If you are sticking with the BETA then how are you being inconvenienced? Your comments serve no purpose other than to criticize. You are not helping by standing on the fence, so-to-speak.

I am a "layman" and I think The included PDF & stickies on the board are more than enough to ensure a flawless upgrade. And even if you do run into problems someone can help you fix them. No one is going to hold your hand for you. Sorry.

Now if you have something to contribute to this thread by al means chime in. If not...

Hi, I'd like to upgrade from 1.0.0, I have downloaded the files but can you please tell me where to find the sql file please? Thanks.

Due to an oversight the SQL file is actually to be found in the 1.0.3 download.

No I never seen that one... posted that time.. Thanks.. I'll try that one.

Because you ask to limit the max. image size (where is the message now? ) I decided to modify this. The max. possible width is now limited by the configuration settings.

File Attachment:
File Name: interpreter-272af81b7732da8329494428d096e629.zip
File Size: 4674

following workarounds are now included:
  • quote issue (all tags within quotes are parsed now and the box is showed like 1.0.3)

  • code issue (lines after the end-tag are no longer in one line)

  • the "size" option of the tag IMG now works, limited by the "max. image width" option in the configuration

and please remember: these are all workarounds until the developer-team release their own solution

Thanks Racoon.. Is there a Way you can fix the Text Size Issue?
This one:
Code:

[size=1]text size[/size] - Hint: sizes range from 1 to 5

Its not Working. I try Choosing Big and Very Big.. Not Working.

it seems that only ...px or ...% works, eg: [ size=20px ] [ /size ]

I did the 10Px then next line 20px and so fort:
I got this with Scroll Bars.

Doesn't look Healthy to me.

Same as the % too.. No luck.
