Just to give you an idea, now I'm using smileys without any problem here .

Why after the upgrade my site - instead - does not, while before it was always running perfectly?

This forum did not get upgraded. If you have a backup you can easily downgrade again if the new bugs are causing you that much grief. More than likely someone is most likely working on it. No need to keep posting about the same issue over and over and over and over.

Hopefully that bug is not a fatal one, and I guess I can survive without downgrading until someone figures out a solution

As far as "keep posting about the same issue over and over" is concerned, sorry if I didn't see a post about the same bug, maybe lost somewhere in the many many pages.

If you can give me any direction I would be grateful.

I understand the pressure that your team is under in moments like theese, but feel that you will surely quickly solve any bug.

What do you mean? Maybe there's a tool that I didn't consider...

My 'extra icons' (AIM, MSN, GENDER, ETC) don't work. I had the CB plugin, and reinstalled it with tragic results. Is there an updated plugin for these icons, if so, where?

Make sure you re-enter the CB fields in the FB Config.

I had this problem also. Unfortunately it was a show stopper for me (non techy users) so I reverted to 1.0.3. Am watching this thread with interest as I would love to go back to 1.0.4 to get the better functioning 'New Posts' feature. I guess it will get fixed soon.
