I'm assuming your "hack" changes existing files, which are GPLed.
You'd better read up:

Anyways, if it's not GPLed, I don't need it that bad.

Just put the mouse pointer upon a BAR, it will show how many votes it got using tool-tip box.
Total vote ? not yet added.... will add in next version.

Just one problem I am having though. When I create a poll the process seems to work fine, but when I go into the forum post after creating it I get the following error:

I have checked in my file manager and poll.php is present and the poll section of message.php also seems fine

Is it poll.php or showpoll.php? That's the file it says it cannot open/locate.
