I have to test this more but it seems the fix do not 100% work, i have some locked threads where i can still post using the latest post button i would say that in half locked threads i have i can still post using this latest post button.

Did you relock them? Otherwise it wont work.

It seems indeed that threads locked before the fix are those who have the problem, from what i have tested lately it seems that unlocking then re-locking the thread solve the issue like you explained.

That because before the 'fix' they were locked based on message id (which only locks the first message in the thread) now they are locked on thread id which locks all messages in the thread.

So you'll have to go over any old locked posts and relock them. I'm pretty sure all should be fine then

Tested on live forum with locked threads ranging from 10 ~ 180 pages.

I wasn't aware of this side effect, almost all my locked threads are fixed now.
