CAPTCHA code not accepted 8 Months, 1 Week ago  
Fireboard 1.04
Spam protection enabled on backend.
Forum does not require registered user to post

When post to forum CAPTCHA code does match picture shown but errors out:
Code not Correct

I have chmod the file randomimage.php to 774, also tried 777 but did not work.

Ideas?

I made test installation on my PC.
Here CAPTCHA works.
Difference is in sessions settings.

Now CAPTCHA works fine on my web www.krasneruze.cz
Just activate PHP sessions.

Thanks for your help. I flushed the cache and set the seesion handler to "none". In Joomla 1.5, if I am not mistaken, you cannot choose "PHP" (see screenshot below).

The thing is, it's still not working... If you have any other idea, please be so kind to share, this thing is driving me nuts ))

Check in Joomla back-end ( Joomla administration )
Help - System info - PHP Information - if Session Support is enabled and correctly set.
